The lost interview with missing BBC journalist Benjamin Raffle, who first broke the news of this discovery
The publication of this most remarkable work is down to a chance discovery in southern Italy by a number of Renaissance scholars, on the hunt for some obscure frescoes by Michelangelo. Their findings were highlighted in the interview, reproduced below in full. Benjamin Raffle, the journalist who broke their story has not since been seen.
